Each floor holds at least one spirit. First floor a man was killed in a brawl in the early 1900's, he is believed to haunt the floor. Also a woman is often seen reading in the lobby and will turn to look at you, smile, rise and turn off the lamp light before disappearing.
The 2nd floor has a woman who is often heard crying. It is believed she suffocated - not known how. The 3rd floor is the dominated by the Founder of the Women's Century Club, Bertha K. Landis. When told to leave, she pitched a hissy fit and refused to leave. This is her home is what the psychic heard. Projectors have been discovered on when no one else is around; film canisters moved; movie goers have reported their hair played with. There is a consensus that there are 4 females, 2 males, and a "thought" form. The thought form is believed to be a form of energy from early suffragettes. One man reported being unable to close a door, as if a force were preventing him for closing it. Loud bangings and doors closing. |
