Description:
During the 1930's a young Polish girl (17-19) was killed in a car crash and buried at Resurrection Cemetery, a Catholic Cemetery. She had spent the evening dancing at the old O'Henry Ballroom (Willowbrook Ballroom).

Sometimes a faceless apparition, she is seen walking along the road on the burm. It appears as if she is trying to hitch a ride. Sometimes, Mary is seen at the ballroom and is known to dance with a few of the men. She always asks for a ride home.

In the 1970's massive renovations were taking place. The spirit of Resurrection Mary has been seen frequently. In December 1977 a passing motorist saw a lovely young woman holding onto the bars at the gated cemetery as if she had been forgetten and locked in. After placing a call to the police, the police failed to find anyone except the small handprints of a woman etched into the gate!

These bars were removed and replaced to keep curiousity seekers from destroying the cemetery. Embarrassed, the bars were reattached but the prints were seared from them. There have been dozens of witnesses and several cab drivers who have picked up a young woman at the Old Willow Shopping Center and other places have been picked up only to disappear in the vicinty of the Resurrection Cemetery.
